From SRP author Mark Posey:
I’ve been working on Fall From Grace, the sequel to Saving Grace.
You’d think this would be the part where I give you a nice, informative update.
You would be wrong.
What follows has been cleared for release by absolutely no one, and may self-destruct if read too closely.
FILE: FFG_PROGRESS_REPORT_v3.7
STATUS: ACTIVE
CLEARANCE LEVEL: QUESTIONABLE
- Grace Worthington is currently dealing with [REDACTED]
- The situation in [REDACTED] has escalated beyond what anyone considers “manageable”
- A key ally has been identified as either:
- Extremely helpful
- Deeply problematic
- Both (this is the leading theory)
At approximately [REDACTED] into the story:
- A decision is made that cannot be undone
- Several people immediately regret it
- One person absolutely does not
INTELLIGENCE NOTE:
There is a moment—late in the book—where everything you thought you understood gets… adjusted.
Not overturned.
Not contradicted.
Just… recontextualized in a way that may cause:
- Pausing
- Staring at the page
- Possibly going back to check if that was actually set up earlier (it was)
CURRENT RISK ASSESSMENT:
- Tension levels: escalating
- Margin for error: narrowing
- Grace’s patience: [REDACTED FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY]
ADDITIONAL OBSERVATIONS:
- At least one character is not telling the truth
- At least one character thinks they are telling the truth
- These may or may not be the same person
AUTHOR COMMENT (UNAUTHORIZED):
This one is tighter than Saving Grace.
Less room to breathe.
Less room to recover.
Grace is being pushed harder.
Not just by what’s happening around her—
…but by what she chooses to do about it.
FINAL NOTE:
If you’re looking for spoilers…
You’re going to have to do better than this.
More updates will be released as they are [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and eventually [REDACTED].
Assuming, of course, anyone lets me.
–Mark.
