Great start to a new series.
Quite an opening to a series! It moved immediately to the action, put characters front and center, described a situation, and hit the crux of the matter dramatically. The denouement clearly portends the upcoming series.
Very well done and quite enticing to move to the series proper.
This was a very good book, the characters were dynamic and likeable, and the story left you wanting more.
Excellent Story, well written, Gripping, Suspence, Compliments to Author on a well written story, waiting for next in Series
Short and sweet, we get to witness a tension-filled altercation between a family freeship and the powerful Eriumans. Mostly a battle of wits, we quickly learn how each team operates, and one is left owing the other a favor.
Totally engrossing, and I’m ready for more!!!!
This short story is a once started have to finish story and so after this you will want to know what comes next!
Very good!
Great short story! It is a fascinating glimpse into a new universe with (of course) warring nations and a small family free ship caught in the middle. This little tale shouts family affection while keeping you on the edge of your seat with tension. LOVE Tatiana and Tribunal Lieutenant Scordini de Deluca! I want more.
For a short story this is awesome, grabs you from page one ,you find yourself frantically turning pages to discover whats coming next,To construct such amazing characters, and bring a world to life in such a short story is genius, highly recommended. Now I need to find the next book in this series to continue this amazing adventure,Baz.
This short story is a great way to dip your toes into the world of science fiction. It is a good introduction to some of the characters I am sure we will see in the future. I look forward to the next book!
