All of us here at Stories Rule Press — that’s Tracy, Mark, Cameron and Taylen — are very pleased to introduce the newest SRP author: Eliot Bishop.
Eliot writes fantasy and science fiction. In fact, his first story appeared in Space Opera Digest 2020: Fight or Flight. But now he is producing more stories, we’ve brought him aboard Stories Rule Press.
Today, Eliot released the first in his Spellwright series: Curse of the Dead Witch.
Calder Aulune is a wizard for hire in a city where magic isn’t just real—it’s a business.

The witch’s final spell was meant to track down her killer, and now Calder has inherited her vengeance. He has mere days to solve a murder that’s layered in secrecy, unravel spells older and darker than he’s ever encountered, and fend off magical forces that don’t want the truth to come to light.
With each turn, Calder is drawn deeper into a mystery that threatens not only his life but the very fabric of the city’s magical underworld. In a race against time, Calder must decide just how far he’s willing to go for justice… or die trying.
