More Than Three Books Under One Cover
It would have been easy to bundle the existing novels together, put a new cover on them and call the job done.
We didn’t.
The omnibus has a gorgeous new cover by Dar Albert, along with interior illustrations and design elements created especially for the collection.
The result has an old-fashioned elegance that suits Anna, Elisa and Annalies—and their world—beautifully.
And then we got a little carried away.
Choose Your Edition
For readers who simply want all three stories together, there is the ebook edition, containing the complete trilogy in one enormous volume.
There is also a print edition, where the illustrated interior gets a chance to shine on the page.
And then there is the premium hardcover.
This was our opportunity to find out just how far we could take the idea of a special edition.
The finished book has sprayed edges, silver gilt on the cover, the fully illustrated interior, and a 6 × 9-inch hardcover format substantial enough to hold the entire trilogy.
And substantial really is the word.
When Tracy’s finished copy arrived, her reaction was:
“I knew how big it was going to be. I was still not prepared when I picked the thing up.”
Our highly scientific estimate puts it somewhere in the neighbourhood of five pounds.
It is a lot of book.
Photographs don’t quite communicate the size, weight and details of the finished edition, so Tracy and Mark made videos showing it off properly.
